Hosting Dawson Springs, Lyon County scored early and often on its way to an 8-3 win over the visitors.
Lyon County's Kendall Sandoval opened the scoring 30 seconds into the contest. Bryson Penn dribbled into the Panther's backfield on the first possession, passing to Sandoval in front of the goal for the 1-0 lead.
It was a recurring theme throughout the night as Sandoval earned two scores and two assists, while Penn notched four goals for the Lyons in addition to his early assist. Also scoring was Austin Duff with a pair of goals. Travis Crayne and Trace Adams each had an assist as Lyon County outscored the visitors 8-3.
The Lyons switched things up in the goal as Jack Walker and Lyon County's backfield clear throughout the night.
The win took some of the sting off a 4-1 loss to Caldwell County earlier in the week at Butler Stadium in Princeton. Sandovall and Penn teamed up for Lyon's lone goal, but Tiger Mitchell Scott scored four for the home team.
The teams were tied at the half, but Lyon County couldn't answer for Scott throughout the second.
